Starting his Florida career in 1986, he was a self-employed carpentry contractor working with Bob Evans, Olive Garden, Casa Lupita, Sizzler Steakhouse Restaurants and more. Family business took him to Ohio for several years where he supervised construction of custom homes, remodeling and additions until 2002, when Jerry came back to Florida with Jorgensen-Spurgeon, Inc., supervising commercial construction projects for Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Shell Point Retirement and Innovative Healthcare to name a few.
After Hurricane Charley in 2004, Jerry became the Qualified License Holder for Coastal Property Group of Florida, and in 2007 he and his wife, Judy, purchased the company.
